in ways i think it means that. but then again i think its because they dont what to give you as a gift. and when you get the money you can buy yourself somthing that you want.

No, it only means you can quantify their money. Love cannot be measured or quantified. Money has nothing to do with love.

If love can be quantified, what is the unit of love? If money is linked to love, why are so many rich people complete 'holes?

Anyone who believes that money means love is actually equating money with want. Love is not want.

It means more because I get to pick out whatever I want and don't have to worry about pretending to like some gift they gave me instead.
