Most green tea are good for you. They are good antioxidant and diuretic. Oolong is not a green tea rather a red tea. There are several types of green tea, Iron Buddha, Jasmine, Japanese green tea. There are others, ask someone in the store too. The best type is tea leaves not tea bags. You can buy tea leaves from herb stores or your local natural food stores. If you can't find any, go to Chinatown or Japan town. Treat the tea like you would coffee. Keep it in an air tight container. Buy small quantity, 1 pound or less. Look for tea that is in a vacuum seal packaging.
When serving one, take a small portion of tea leaves and rinse it with hot water. Then add hot water and let it soak for about 2 to three minutes and pour the liquid content out. Never let tea leaves sit in liquid for too long, too much caffeine and too bitter. You can keep adding water when you feel like having more tea.
Enjoy.

Green, oolong, and black teas all come from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. What sets green tea apart is the way it is processed. Green tea leaves are steamed, which prevents the EGCG compound from being oxidized. By contrast, black and oolong tea leaves are made from fermented leaves, which results in the EGCG being converted into other compounds that are not nearly as effective in preventing and fighting various diseases.
Green tea is the best for treating things from headaches, high cholesterol, cancer, weight issues, and on and on. The problem is that you have to drink about 6-10 cups of it a day to get the benefits. HOWEVER, I buy it from my chiropractor in a concentrated form. One dropper gives you the benefit as 10 cups of brewed green tea. It is calorie, caffeine, preservative free. The brand is Pure Inventions. Look at www.pureinventions.com. I have actually lost 5 pounds since I started drinking it. I say, stick with green... Just drink it right!
