Or should we just throw all their clothes on the floor, like they do?

I don't think even that would have the full effect unless you threw in a half finished bowl of cereal, a not quite closed 2 litre bottle of coke, and a video player with an entire packet of digestive biscuits crushed into its vents.

I'm a teenager and i have a wardrobe and i like to mix things up a bit. I sometimes hang things up but usually i can't be bothered so just throw it over a chair in my room. It then usually slips onto the floor.

At the minute the items of clothing on my floor consist of:

2x T-Shirts
1x Pair of Shorts
1x V Necked Sweater

Not as bad as it usually is.

they should have bedrooms because as they get older they need more clothing space.
and i think the reason teenagers throw clothes on the floor is because they are growing up and while thats happening they are becoming lazy and cant be bothered to do jobs.

hope this helped.

Yes, they should have wardrobes or somewhere to hang up clothes and should use them if only because it teaches them respect for their property.

omg....I'm 25 and still in the habit of not using my wardrobe, and it drives me mad!!! I think teenagers should be forced into using their wardrobe.

Some teenagers respect their mothers to put their own clothes away.

They will go on the floor anyway but at least you will be starting a learning curve ( My mother failed utterly) but no harm in trying.
