You have never heard the White Sox radio crew then! Talk about boring. They have the chemistry of velcro and cement.

I thought that the Yankee radio people were bad until I got XM and was able to hear the announcers from around baseball. Man, I can barely listen to the majority of them. Sterling and Waldman as bad as they are, are better than most.

I like the tv guys. Murcer is the best of the bunch. They do have too many though. I think Kay asks the dumb questions on purpose for those watching that aren't baseball nuts. Some of what we consider dumb questions are actually good for the kids watching at home. The Mets are ok, but Keith Hernandez is terrible. He is in LOVE with himself.

I am not a fan of Michael Kay. He is the only announcer that I don't really think is that good. I like Bobby Murcer better. He should call more games. I know for a fact that most Yankee fans wouldn't object to Murcer coming back to do play-by-play for the Yankees. I remember when the Yankees were on WPIX when the late, great Phil "Scooter" Rizzuto, Bobby Murcer, and Paul Olden were calling games. They were the best at it. I don't see anyone taking their place as great announcers. I give credit to Bill White, Frank Messer, and Tom Seaver as well. It just makes it even more depressing that the Scooter is no longer with us. He always made people happy when he was calling games. He made you feel like he was apart of your family. You knew alot about him. The announcers that they have now aren't as good as the Scooter, Murcer, White, Messer, Olden, etc. It is sad that the Scooter is gone, and Murcer doesn't broadcast as many games as he used to. We need the Scooter's wisdom now more than ever. R.I.P. Scooter (1917-2007).

well thats because you are probably a red sox fan and if you have ever heard them all they talk about is the red sox players. If you listen to the yankees announcers they give you information about both teams that most announcers dont know. If you wanna know the worst listen to the royals, devil rays, or marlins, i know they are the worst becasue i have the mlb package and they suck but royals is the worst

I happen to agree with you that Michael Kay and John Sterling suck but Susan Waldman, Ken Singleton, Al Leiter, Paul Oneil and Bobby Murcer know the game and bring insight to the telecasts. Theyre certainly not boring.

Boring?

Michael Kay, Al Leiter, Paul O'neill, etc. are anything but boring. They are constantly telling stories, joking around, laughing and having fun. They actually make the announcing interesting.

I'm A Major Micheal Kay Hater!!!!Al Leiter is OK and so is Giradi.I know that Joe announces for ESPN, right??But I do like his insight when he does announce a show w/ dumb *** {Kay} and Singleton, who is also a good announcer.

Michael Kay asks Al Leiter the STUPIDEST questions about the player-angle of baseball. Al seems to sigh before every answer, like "I can't believe I have to actually answer this guy..."

I'm not a fan of how Kay over-annunciates Alex Rod-DRI-guezzzzz. Pay attention the next time you have to listen to him, it's annoying...

Purchase the MLB extra innings package and watch for one season and you will see that they are easily one of the top 5 in the country. Not to mention the fact that they've got the awards to prove that they are among the best. So you may have your own opinion but the general opinion is that you are WRONG!!!!!!!!

The TV anoncers are a little worse, but they get excited. It Joe Buck and the Fox dudes that are boring. And the Red Sox ones are stupid. A walk off home run and im going crazy i hear him say. and he says it in another language!!
