We have become to complacent about a whole lot of things my friend. The direction this country is headed in really troubles me. With everything that is happening presently in this country it's really scary. However, I do think that since 9/11 the intelligence community is a lot more diligent than they were before. Even 9/11, as it turns out, could have possibly been stopped if the agencies would have shared intelligence better. Well, now they do and while were never 100% safe I think that it will be very hard for the terrorists to launch another significant attack on U.S. soil. Even though we may not think about it that often, like most citizens, their are alot of people out their turning over every stone. Or at least let's hope so.

All the countries in NATO are all looking out for each other. Such as when the British got infomation of a terrorist attack happening in a cargo jet over the atlantic. They saved and the USA and the British from being devostated by a terrorist attack. If an attack happened anywhere in NATO then it would effect all it's allies and so that country's allies would probably do all it could to help.

Just the opposite, I think we dwell on them too much. The real danger is from cyber, and economic attacks. Although, an attack on the Alaskan pipeline would have dire consequences.
