Not necessarily - taking your time can sometimes save you time: haste makes waste. But wasting time (as I do on Yahoo Answers) might well be considered "folly"

My father was a sailor. Not a member of the navy. He liked to sail. He used to tell me that the difference between a power boater and a sailor is that a power boater goes on a boat to do something (fishing, crabbing, etc) or to go somewhere. When he went sailing, sailing was what he did. If the activity is enjoyable to the individual then the mortal human that takes his/her time to complete the action is doing the smart thing.
