I applied for a job and I have heard they mostly go back 5 to 7 years- my felony charge goes back 10 years-do you think ill be ok?

Most background checks do a minimum of a criminal records check, federal, state and local warrants check and a credit bureau report. A deep background check will verify all education, training, military service and residences for at least fifteen years as well as any connection by blood or marriage to known criminals. I don't care if your felony was 50 years ago, it'll pop on a standard background if they actually conduct the background check and aren't just telling you that they are.

it matters on the company.Usely 10yrs. Some will take a chance w/ you. Just be calm and wait and see.
