When you use the mascara, do you "pump" it? That pushes air into the tube and that will cause clumping. Also depends on what kind of mascara you use. I have the Lash Exact from Maybelline and I wash the brush when it starts to clump.

For the sake of getting an infection in your eyes, throw away your mascara every month. i know it can be expensive, but that clumping means it's drying out, which means that air is getting inside. Which can cause bacteria to grow!!!! Just throw it out, it's not worth the grievance!

Do you pump the wand in and out of the tube? Introduces air into the product, drying it out.

Its Old... You need to buy better brands! OR try heating them up in hot water in the Microwave... That should loosen them up a bit

yeah and if you keep using it and sleep with it
it gives you eye infections
you should buy maybelline define-a-lash and lashmaxxx
it gives nonclumps and makes it look longer and thin and never dries out

Spray your mascara wand with mineral water. It will help rejuvenate your mascara.
