Four for me. The first one was big (analog) but I kept it because I had a killer deal for monthly cost. A new phone would mean I would lose that deal. I had to get a new one because the analog one was no longer holding a charge. The second one I only replaced because I could get a better deal, which is the same reason I replaced the third one. I don't use the phone much, just for convenience and emergencies, really. So I just use the Trac Phone. There is no monthly fee and I buy prepaid minutes which with "specials" is pretty inexpensive. My husband has one, also. So....I guess that makes 5 cell phones. Gez. Hadn't thought about how many phones....
By the way... I recycle the phone batteries. And there are organizations (like women's shelters) which will take donated used phones. They still work for calling 911, so they hand them out to victims who don't own cell phones.

I go thru about 1 a year whitch i bleive there about designed for anyway, I dont know why cell phone companies are trying to stick people with 2 and 3 year contracts to negate the cost of the phone, now when the more smaller they make these things the less longer they last.

Like 5 or 6...some were just cause I wanted something newer and 2 didn't work very well anymore. 1 I lost the charger for and it would have cost $30 plus shipping to get a new one and I could get a new phone free if I signed a new contract.

I am on #3 - First one I got was Prime Co... Then I had Cingular, then Sprint and have had my phone since 2003 - I really need a new one though - it is cracked. I am in contract until May though so can't change anything unless I want a new contract.
