I think it would take care of the consipircy theorists who don't believe we've actually been to the moon since they can't see the items left by the astronauts.

:-)

I think it's a fantastic idea. The only requirements would be that they would have to be kept to one sheet 5" by 8" 20# paper on the back side of the moon and one sheet of 2" by 2" 20# paper on the side of the moon facing us, and that the company would have to fund a mission to the moon for the CEO personally to place the paper in an appropriate location.

It would be bad in the sense that we would have successfully defaced such an amazing part of nature.

It also would be slightly beneficial, because it would mean that we would have traveled back to the moon.

I can just picture a big "Go-Daddy" ad up there now...

Now that's thinking outside the box!!

I like my moon just the way it is. Leave the advertising on the ground.

Hi. They would be really hard to change. I better idea is to use the Moon as part of logo, such as Proctor & Gamble. http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.texemarrs.com/images/proctor.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.texemarrs.com/121997/devil_companies_devil_logos.htm&h=147&w=149&sz=5&tbnid=afq04PFqDIkj-M:&tbnh=94&tbnw=95&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dproctor%2B%2526%2Bgamble%2Blogo%26um%3D1&start=2&sa=X&oi=images&ct=image&cd=2

It would be horrible. A waste of resources, and a perfectly good moon.

It seems very wrong, but in all honesty I would never see them so it wouldn't be terribly bothersome.
