Seeing my little cat, stretched out in a ray of Sunshine on the kitchen floor...
The smell of Clean sheets,,,I love that fresh washed linen, smell.
Rain on a tin roof..I have a tool shed next to my bedroom and when it rains, I can hear the rain on that roof....
Sitting on the back porch, late on a Spring evening and letting that honeysuckle wind blow through my hair....
Picking blackberries in a tin can,,the same way my Mama showed me...and eating the Blackberry cobbler for Supper.
Seeing the happy look on my dog's face, when he knows we are going for a walk in the woods, behind the house. Katrina tore down most of the big trees, but as nature is always refurbishing,,,I am amazed at how big the smaller ones have grown in the past two years.

Lately, i realised that a large source of happiness is for me to be near a special someone. Just sitting next to her on the floor, looking at art pictures..
Awesome feeling.
Who knew, something so relatively simple can have such a profound impact.

The simplest pleasures of life: A friendly greeting, a pleasant conversation, shared smiles and laughter, or just spending time with those I care for and who care for me. These small yet abundant things bring me fresh, new joys each day.
Best wishes to all,

5 to 20 minutes of silence each day. Something that can be difficult to accomplish in such a busy world with so many people.
