IADT is on the DART (city train) line in south county Dublin. I would imagine accomodation in Dun Laoghaire might be quite expensive, but as a previous poster suggested, check out www.daft.ie for price ranges. Other suburbs on the south side of the DART line are Blackrock, Sandymount, Booterstown, Ballsbridge, and Sandycove. These are all quite affluent suburbs and I would not imagine you would find cheap student accomodation in these areas. I would recommend finding accomodation closer to the city centre, or maybe on the northside DART line in places like Raheny, Killester or Clontarf. These are all nice areas, close enough to the city centre and with DART stations close by which would mean you could get to college easily.

Good luck with your house hunt and with college!

dunlaoghaire is handy to get to via dart, so anywhere along the dart line would be handy for you.you could try, bray, shankill, dalkey, killiney, loughlinstown, ballybrack, these places are all south of dunlaoghaire there are many more to the north ..... hope you get somewhere you should pick up a copy of city ads, its free in fact all tesco stores have a couple of free papers that run ads so check them out or buy a copy of buy and sell they run ads too, hope you get somewhere, and good luck with the studying.....
