My husband is obsessed with the show and now has been reading the book. Is this strange behavior for a married man of 11 years? Is it strange that he would take up such an interest in the art of picking up women? We have had problems in the past with going out with random women and almost divorced because of it. But is he now on his way to attemt to live the best of both worlds, again? or is it just a book and just a show? should i be concerned? i think it's wierd...what do you think?

What would it say about me if I were so deeply interested in the art of picking up men?

oh, he also plays in a band and play at the bars every so often.

is he just an attention whore?!

Not really. Many of the same things you need to do to pick up women you also need to do to keep them interested, so I am not that concerned about him getting information.

What I am concerned about is that he disrespected you in the past by going out with other women (was this while you were married?).

Maybe he is just a needy, high-maintenance person. You didn't know this before you married the guy 11 years ago?

sounds like you married a hand full. I would not like that. I think this is so wrong...especially in light of his past. This is a problem I think. I don't know what I would do.....tell him that I had read it so that when he was out fooling around then I would know better what to do to find the guy out there who didn't play those games.

It's on the best seller list now, and I was kind of curious myself (even though I'm happily married) about the author's claim to have unlocked the code on how to be successful in the singles scene, which was always very difficult for me. On second thought, maybe I'll skip it.
