Hey... you should keep pressing on. You got the mission for those nights, now you need to go to the Dept Of Health and Human Services in your area and search for help as far as help with food. They do have emergency assistance. Look into all those programs. If you are at a friend's right now, ask them about letting you stay for a couple of weeks or a couple of nights a week. This way, you can be on the Internet doing some job searches... you need to get out here and go everywhere applying for jobs... and, look for a room to rent. Do you not have any family at all???

You'll be okay... most importantly... stay close to God. All you have to do is ask HIM and BELIEVE. I'm not worried at all about you... I just said a prayer... God will provide. Take care.

No, sorry I'm not homeless and hope to never ever be homeless. However, have you maybe tried getting a live-in position perhaps for someone that needs care or a nanny type or housekeeping position.. That would at the very, very least give you a roof over your head...Some income and some sort of stability instead of couch jumping and living in missions/half way homes... If you can keep a house or cook you should be able to find SOMETHING better than a shelter.. Good luck

I'm so sorry for your situation. I think you're handling this way better than I could. You seem to have a positive attitude which will be your ticket off the streets.

Ask a friend to use their address for mail purposes so that you can find a job. You really need to work. That is the only way to get off the streets.

Good luck and stay optimistic.

You have access to a computer and you choose to spend it on your time at YAHOO answers? Maybe your time would be better spent searching City/County/State/Federal/Private/Religious assistance programs...Or here is a crazy idea......
wait for it............Employment!!

With the amount of civil & private assistance out there it is my professional experience that the only people that are homeless are so by choice due to of Alcohol or drug abuse....

p.s. Your going to a campsite for the next 2 months...How do you know it will be 2 months?
