One of our friends told his parents that he was an atheist, that freaked them out. Then he told them that he was kidding he is really gay.

That took the edge off it.

It was OK for him to be gay as long as he still believed in God.

Weird, huh?

people will tell you to w8 for the right time, but tbh. there is no right time. youre jsut going to have to tell them (preferably not in a heated arguement.) if you know your parrents are deeply religious, and very anti-homosexual rights or KNOW theyre going to not understand. id think you might best consider not telling them until youre older.

if you know your parrents are liberal, and comfortable talknig about sex, theyll understand.

There is never an easy way. Just make up your mind and do it. Trying to find the best way to do it does not change the way they are going to response anyway.

If you think there's any chance they won't accept it, DON'T tell them--not until you don't live under their roof, anyway.

Come out after you move out.

No need to complicate your life unnecessarily--they don't need to know right this moment, anyway.

Well, first you have to admit to them that you're a frog/dragon thing, then saying you're gay won't sound as bad. :) :) XOXO

What occurs to me is: "Mom, dad - I'm gay".

Or

"Mom, dad, this is a new day, I'm gay".

Why do you feel you must tell them? Just be yourself and they will figure it out eventually.
