Toss it! I'd give him/her my finger before I let them chew on that thing. You can always give 'em a frozen waffle or frozen pretzel to gnaw on.

I would definitely stop using the teether for now, you can get a lead tester kit from almost any hardware store. Test it first, see if it tests for lead, it if does then ya toss it, if not let the little tyke gnaw away with pleasure.

I say toss it. I had those things for my kids too, but they never used them. They did not like them.
