I have a teether for my infant that is made in China. I realize just about EVERYTHING is made in China but this is purposely put in the mouth of a newborn. Toss it or use it?

Toss it! I'd give him/her my finger before I let them chew on that thing. You can always give 'em a frozen waffle or frozen pretzel to gnaw on.

I would definitely stop using the teether for now, you can get a lead tester kit from almost any hardware store. Test it first, see if it tests for lead, it if does then ya toss it, if not let the little tyke gnaw away with pleasure.

I say toss it. I had those things for my kids too, but they never used them. They did not like them.

You can find cheaper American made chew toys in the pet section of your local Walmart.
