It's just the way we feel. If we feel more comfortable in jeans and a t, we'll wear that. It's the same with straight people. Besides, not all lesbians wear guy stuff. I know a lot of lesbians who wear dresses and markup. It's just what they like to wear.

Because that's how they feel comfortable dressing I expect. Not all lesbians dress like men though, I know some very feminine lesbians - you definitely wouldn't know they were lesbians by the way they dress & look! Then there are straight women who dress like men, so really there are all sorts of different combinations - it's best not to get into that whole lesbian stereotype thing. Especially on here!!

I know quite a few lesbians and very few dress like men.
Most of them dress fairly neutrally - wearing jeans, mainly.
One couple I know are like this though. One is fairly plump but quite rounded and drinks a lot. You'd not really know she was lesbian just to look at her.
Her partner doesn't drink, is quite slim, very boyish in mannerisms & posture, hairstyle, the way she dresses and talks, etc. I mistook her for a 15 year old boy the first time I saw her.
Opposites attract. This applies to the rest of the human race too.

Maybe 10% of the straight women I've met dress like men - actual men, it's not just pants and t-shirts, there's a subtle distinction women don't get but is done all the same subconsciously. Of the identifiable lesbians i.e. not just women I've seen walking down the street with red/blue/green hair I'd say 40% dress like men. More irrefutable proof that lesbians feel they have a void in their lives, men, or feel they have to act like one, consequently proving that homosexuality is a product of social conditioning. Do not try to refute these expert empirical findings as they were uncovered by a genius (me).

I did not know that they did. Probably you only recognise the ones dressed as men and don't realise that there are lesbians around you dressed a women

because of a stereotype where people believe lesbians dress like men, they notice lesbians with masculine clothes, & this reinforces the stereotype, whereas if the same person saw a woman wearing feminine clothes, they might assume she is straight even though she could be a lesbian.

Its not only lesbians who wear the trousers, look at how many heterosexual girls dress like men.
Anyway who made the laws about what people had to wear, take the Scots and the Irish guys along with other nationalities who wear some sort of kilt

I am female. I was sexually molested by a female neighbour when I was 6 or 7. I was so terrified, traumatized, and scarred by it that I rejected my sexuality soon afterwards. I hate everything feminine. Sex repulses me. Physical contact repulses me. I dress like men so no-one will ever find me attractive enough to want to touch me. I hate women with a passion, but as my first experience with sex was with a woman, I am in turmoil with my sexual preferences as is EMINEM since the age of 6 or seven. That ***** FUCKED MY LIFE. If I could get away with murder, she'd be DEAD long ago. My whole life was ROBBED.

I have seen lesbians that dress like Justin Beiber. Not many gay men. Actually, most of the gay men I know dress like regular guys. @Skye, they're called doms and fems. Not dykes and girly girls.

I don't. I only ever wear dresses and skirts. I've never worn a pair of jeans/dungarees in my life.
Generally, women wear trousers/jeans.
With some lesbians, maybe dressing in a masculin fashion is a statement. I'm a lesbian and I'm proud of it.
