Is it true that everyone in Europe is required to get an annual physical..and if they do not get an annual physical that person is taxed?

To paraphrase Ben Franklin, believe half of what you read and less of what you hear.

This may be true but doubtful only for those few European countries that have 'socialized medicine' but in no way is it true for ALL European countries.

First of all, Europe is not one country, there are many.
All of them have different health care systems, sometimes one country has several.

I do not know about an European country where yearly check-ups are compulsory, but their might be. (Do you know what health care in Canada and Mexico are like in respect to check-ups?)

In the Netherlands the gouvernment tries the opposite, not going to the doctor is rewarded.
But you have to have a health insurance, if you do not have one, you will be taxed for the amount that the basic insurance would have cost you.
