He loves water and animals and lights, so we thought he might like to go there for a couple of hours.

If you're nearby and can afford it, sure.....

but he is far too young to remember it!! so I personally wouldn't spend the money, unless it was a big family outing or something like that.

I would definitely take him but then again I am a Shamu junkie! I have been taking mine to Cedar Point Amusement Park since they were 4 and 5 months old and they are 4 and 3 now. They love to just look at everything with all the lights and noises. My problem now is they want to go on all the roller coasters but they are too small right now. He might like to see Shamu or the dolphins jumping out of the water. If not, at least it gets you out of the house.

I started taking my son to Sea World before he turned one. They have the FunCard where you pay for a day and get a pass to come back all year. He loves it. Always has. It's a great park for young kids because the main focus isn't on the big rides. We're actually going this Saturday just to get dinner and see the Pirate Show. Enjoy!!

I think all kids are different and yours might as well enjoy the trip, just don't overdo it. Little ones have very short attention span. Even 2 hours could be too much. When he looses his interest, it's time to go home. After all it's all about having a good time. And don't forget to bring snacks and his favorite toys anyway.

Some memorable moments with your baby will only be remembered by you. His first birthday, for example. You will run around, searching for a theme, invitations, matching place settings and all the trimmings that go with the first birthday party. He will never in a million years remember it, he will only be able to look at pictures and say to himself, "wow, mom really pulled out all the stops for this shindig!!!" Go to Seaworld, and take tons of pictures of him with all the animals and stuff around. Show off your baby and enjoy yourself. Besides, I miss living in warmer weather and I miss being near the ocean. Go to seaworld for me,.....displaced and often frozen in Massachusetts.

It is SOOO much fun.I just went for my birthday,i was on a cruise and they went to seaworld.I suggest a carriage and a bathing suit.If he LOVES water that much,Sit in the Soak zone 2nd row,at the shamu show. They have this Gift shop with Water,Juice,Candy,And this sour thing you make by yourself!.They have this big pirate ship that is for little kids, maybe a parent should stay behind him to make sure he's safe. Also Sunscreen,And Kiddy Sunglasses.+ A hat.The sun is VERY strong there.

Why not go? You'll have more fun than he will, but theres no reason he cant be part of the adventure.

I take my 7 month old to all sorts of places like that, and I have since he was born. Theyre infants and their wonderment and reasoning is developing, but they can enjoy it on their own little level.

maybe but i also think it could be a waste of time and money, this summer we took our 3 kids to the zoo ages 3.5yrs 1.5yrs and 6mons and they love animals and when they see shows at the zoo they say they wanna go there but we went and although the kids were free it was 40buck for me and my husband and then the lunch and etc, my kids all ended up sleeping most of the trip and they were getting bored with it, the highlight of there day was the splash park.

good luck with your decison hope this helps.

It'd be no different than taking him anywhere else--he'll be just as happy there as anywhere. If you want to go to Sea World, then go to Sea World. He's too young to appreciate it, if that's what you mean, but that doesn't mean you can't have a fun "family" day.

i take my 6 month old baby to sea world almost every saturday, and she enjoys it a lot, she might not remember it, but i am sure every live experience is better than been home playing with fisher price toys, by the way we had the season pass, so that worked for us perfect.
