Occasionally periods can be heavier. It may just be a fluke. IF the next one is heavy then you should go to a doctor.

FYI: Doctor's don't prescribe pills so that they can sit on a shelf. You are supposed to take them. If you don't, how do you expect to get better?

Just wait it out and see what your next period is like. If that one is also very heavy, you may want to get checked out by a gyno.

FYI - Doctors give you pills for a reason, maybe if you listened to your doctors, you wouldn't be having problems...

if you are young, that is normal. It could be a number of things including a miscarriage. I know you do not want to hear this, but it is better safe than sorry and you need to go to the doctor if you are really concerned about your health.
