my tongue got burned yesterday night.
stupid me burnt it on something i was cooking over the oven. I lifted it and put it in my mouth... my tongue, at the front part was inflated - small little red circles. I might not be explaining it right, but now it doesnt hurt, but i know that its there and whenever i brush my tongue on the roof of my mouth it feels a little sore.

Right NOW - the circles have gone down so that they are now flat & its a little less red.
Does anyone know what this is called or when it will go away, how i can heal it or what to do to it to make it clear up?

THANKS!!! :)

These are just basic blisters from putting something in your mouth that's too hot.

Best thing is to avoid brushing these areas, as this will delay healing.

Typically, these go away within a week. If they get worse, see your healthcare provider.

Sometimes swishing Maalox or Mylanta around can help. Avoid spicey or acidic foods.

Best of luck.

The mouth heals itself fast. So, just let the process take its course. You will be fine.

Don't panic.
Blisters on the tongue will heal of themselves.
