two lines on a graph have different slopes.?

Question

how do i find what coordninates they will hit at?

one has a slope of 10/1 with coordinates of (0,8) and the other has a slope of 8/1 with coordinates (0,4).

please show your work.

1. 8 = 10*0 + b, b = 8
...y = 10x + 8

2. 4 = 8*0 + b, b = 4
...y = 8x + 4

Now you can calculate all the coordinates you want.
