They had wings and could fly.

They could fly, or at least glide hangglider style, for one.

The also had hind legs, so I suspect they could waddle along on the ground when needed. The wings had claw tips, also, so they might have walked using the wings as front legs (folded, the way bats do...)

Didn't you ever watch that "Jurassic park" movie with the pteranodons?
