You did not want to do anything big for your 18th but decide to invite about 10 of ur closest friends (ones youve been friends with since year7) to your family party which is on ur actual b'day ...you asked them on tuesday last week and they said they would come..You feel so excited that they actually want to come to one of your family parties.. But on Friday a girl who they are obsessed with, but hardly talk to invites them to her huge party on the same night...Then you find out all except 1 of them are going to leave your party early to go to hers..U really wanted them to stay at yours and they know it...Everyday they continually talk about how excited they are for the other girls party right infront of you..They can see that your upset about it but they ignore it and stick to their plan.
Would you care? How would you feel? What would you do?

I think that sucks and I think they aren't your true friends. The one person that you mentioned that isn't leaving early is your true friend.

I would care, but that is just part of growing up. If they come to your party then they care and be satisfied with whatever time they give you. They see you all the time so don't be upset that something new has gotten their interest for this week only. If they don't show then they suck and you should let them know that was not a nice thing to do. Otherwise enjoy your party, have a fun weekend, and Happy Birthday!

I'd probably care, but i'd have to realize others make their own choices...

Your friends are rude to accept your invitation and then go somewhere else...

Maybe they aren't real friends at all?

take care of YOU and Happy Birthday!!

well wait it out. if they actually do what they plan then.... booeee for them... you shouldnt be so close with them they obviousely have their priorities set up int he wrong oerder. be honest with them talk to them about it. one on one if you have to one at a time. and if they still refuse to change their actions, then, i guess jsut distance yoruself from them a little. i mean dont stop being friends with them, but tell them that you dont feel quite as clsoe as uused to i guess.

You asked the same question last night - get over yourself - no one likes you - so celebrate by yourself and get used to it
