Do you believe that sex offender laws are tough enough? Should there be more stipulations for meeting the requirements of there parole??

Many of the laws in my own state concerning sex offenders are ambiguous, misleading, lame, and unenforceable.

Though law enforcement does their best to monitor sex offenders, violations of the laws are difficult at best to enforce due to the loopholes in the laws.

Best wishes.

It's not the Laws that are disputable, it's the punishments that people are concerned about. All laws are adequate and these offenders know they are breaking them but have no fear against any conviction. Therefore, there should be an International Compulsary Punishment for those offenders. The first offence should carry no less than 5 years in prison and total castration. The second offence should carry no less than 10 years in prison and a tattoo on the forehead that declares their crime and a third conviction should be execution within 7 days, no right to appeal and the victims and their families should be allowed to attend and participate in the execution.

Sex offender laws are actually really not related to the parole or probation of the sex offender, it's a common misconception.

There is a city in Texas can't remember which one but they have their sex offenders meet on Halloween night at the jail. It is forced but last year they had pizzas and beer and watched a football game so its not like they put them behind bars for the night. They said it was for the protection of the children and for themselves. In case something happened that night they knew it wasn't any of them and knew right from the start that they were looking for some new guy and didn't have to waste time going through their list of sexual offenders. I think we need to start this nationwide.
