Oooh, I hate that! Try this. It usually works for me.
First, find a piece of duct tape (yes, duct tape). Put it on the spot and rub in onto the spot very hard. Let the adhesive from the tape meld with the adhesive from the sticky glue. Leave on for about five minutes, then peel off. That will get some (if not all) of it off.
Second, with your bare finger, rub the adhesive from the center of the cup to the edge in the same direction. The pressure from your finger in some instances will move the glue.
Third and finally, take some dishwasher detergent (preferably the dry, grainy kind) and rub it into the glue. Then, soak it for about 30 minutes. Lastly, wash it in the dishwasher. That should do the trick.
I hope that helps! Good luck!

Some of them are tricky. Hot water will disolve the glue eventually. Rub it with your fingers until it comes off. For a faster solution to those stickers try Goo Gone it works very well. It's good to keep around the house for just that sort of thing. Mustang is right, if you have WD-40 that should work too.
Take care.

Oh i hate that but the best way to get rid of that is something petroleum based. Depending on where you live there are a few things you can use. There is this cleaner called Lestoil. I live in the south its hard as crap to find it down here its mostly in the New England States. I prefer this stuff called Goo Gone. That stuff is oily and can take that sticky stuff off real easy too. Hope this helped

It sounds stupid but try Coke or Dr.Pepper (both have more acid that other soft drinks), soak it in it for about 10 minutes and then you should be able to just peel it off. If that doesnt work try WD-40 or if you have this problem a lot they make adhezive remover you can buy at a hardware store that might be a good investment.

If the sticker is on the outside of the wok just let it burn off when you cook. Might be good for a joke when someone smells it and accuses you of burning dinner... If it's on the inside, alcohol and a mild plastic scouring pad works. I have a cast iron wok that also makes a great deep fryer...

suprised that nail polish remover didn't work. I would try a product called "goof off". its another solvent and should dissolve the glue on the sticker enough for you to rub it off

Try a bit of oil. I use WD-40 to remove it all the time, but I would think any oil might work.
