Sometimes it's easier to say than going into some long, convoluted explanation. I read a question a short time ago by a woman asking whether her husband's assertion is true that all men comment to each other on the looks of attractive women they see. In my opinion, talking about hott women is perfectly natural and justifiable, and I could list numerous sociological and anthropological reasons why this is so. Sometimes, though, it's a lot easier not to get all scientific and just say, "Men will be men."

I can't say I'm tired of hearing it, because I never accepted that as en excuse for poor bahavior to begin with.
We're planning our wedding, and I see alot of women lamenting the fact their partners don't want to help with the planning, and this "men aren't interested" excuse thrown around all the time as a justification...unacceptable. My fiance knows it is OUR wedding, not my wedding, and he is fully involved in the planning...he picked the band, dj, reception location, menu, and lots of other stuff...
Instead of saying boys will be boys, I think people do what is expected of them, and if nobody expects great things of their partner, they won't get them.

men will be men, but why do they always go by the bad examples. i know good men and i see how other guys talk about them, they are punks and weak. my husband told me many times (when i asked him why he does this or that) its normal and men are like that. i say no, they are just weak and immature to wanna impress you. a real man dont live by what the others think is cool.

No, I think it's the reality of what some men are....Not all men are the same...There are some good, decent men out there who's willing to love and be committed...

Yeah well I'm more prone to believe the saying....if men had any common sense, they'd be dangerous.

If my man wants to be a caveman, fine.
As long as I can continue shoe shopping and getting my hair and nails done, I am fine with it!
