Well that would of course depend on which pair of jeans.
All but one I do the top button and then zip up.
The other pair are button fly so have no zip, so no matter where I start it's button first, but I tend to work from bottom up.

Button them first. Its kinda hard to zip them cuz the zipper slides down and so button and then zip

Generally speaking...on the rare occasion that I do wear jeans...(Kilts are so much more comfortable) I usually put my legs in first, then pull 'em up...get everything situated, then I button or zip, depending on the jeans I'm wearing... :)
