When your income from the cleaning business exceeds your income from your day job is where you want to start. However, I recommend you have 3 to 6 months of your monthly salary saved, so you can have a cushion while you build your business.

I'm in the same shoes as you. I'm being patient while I continue to build my business.

When you have time, please read a book, "The 45-Second Presentation That Will Change Your Life" by Don Failla

If I were in your shoes, I would build up my clientel, if needed, then go for it. There is only one way too find out it you can fly. You have to take that leap some day. Be financially prepared! Save money beforehand and make it a habit!
However, be prepared to be very busy. Running a business full-time can be hectic.
Good Luck!

That's a scary question. Usually when enough business is coming to you that you can't do both is when you decide which one gets the majority of your time.

Remember that working on your own means no health insurance or dental insurance unless you buy it.
