It happened 5 days ago. I tried drying it in the sun for several days, but it's still not working properly. Any suggestions?

Drying it out is not the issue, the prob is the connections and inner works are corroded from the water. you need to take the phone apart and carefully wipe the connections, board etc with rubbing alcohol. It may work after that. IMO razrs are so inexpensive just get a new one, less hassle and you will get a new one.

Try drying it out by taking out the battery and letting it sit in the sun for a while. Or use a blow dryer. If the battery is rusted, you may need a new one. If this doesn't work than you will have to get a new one.

u definately need a new fone buddy.
u cant get a new fone under warranty for water damage.
if you notice, when you take out ur battery.. there is a circle in the back that is probbly red or pink now, but its normally white.
when it changes color, that lets you and the fone company know that its due to water damage, and thats pretty much the end of the fone.
