There are only two ways:
1) God could come to Earth and personally rule, in which case everybody would be too terrified to do anything wrong and especially be too terrified to fight.
2) We could form a world government so militarily powerful, ruthlessly cruel, and arbitrarily just that everybody would be too terrified to fight.
I'm afraid 2) has been tried several times, and so far it hasn't worked out, while 1) is not up to us; therefore we cannot create world peace because people are free to do evil whether we like it or not.
We could create a reasonably peaceful world by establishing an American-style Republic everywhere, but that would require far more killing than Americans are willing to do to get it going, so we can't even get that far. We'll just have to muddle through as best we can and quit worrying about things that aren't going to change through wishing.
Be kind to your neighbor and hope it rubs off, that's the best you can do and the most you can hope for.

You would have search and kill all those that suppress the peoples of the world. Then you would have remove the children from their families and raise them according to non violent and tolerant ways. And then you would have to have a one world gov't that has a strict control on everything and the limits that everyone can have so people wont get angry because one culture or society has more than the other.
But in reality...world peace will never happen..it can't happen without total control over the worlds population.

In my opinion we need to:
dispose of all the corrupt politicians in the world and balance the world financial differences!
peace can only then be maintained if each and every person is given 5 things:
water
food
money
education
shelter
In return humanity will be asked to do 6 things:
limit water usage
recycle
walk/cycle
study and gain at least one degree
and not argue instead report to a counsellor or who will resolve the matter
put our differences aside and accept people as they are
If only I had the power to do this, but no one does! I think humanity is cursed never to gain peace!

By playing your part in this society and fulfill all your responsibilities as you should. If everyone has this mindset then it may really be possible to create world peace. Simply by assuming you personal role in this society and making the best of it. :)

Its not possible because the moment you got anywhere near it people would just start arguing over wether we have world peace or not. Even if they then agreed they did have world peace, some joker would say" no you haven't".

brain wash everyone? I'm only joking.
The problem is most people dont realize that we all, in any place on earth are similar to one another, and they also did not realize that we need a healthy and clean environment to survive.
It's about people's way of thought and their way to see other and the world. and that's hard to change.
Let just start from ourselves. stop being racist, stop making prejudice, try to understand people problem, try to be more compassion, love and care the animal, the environment, make peace with your self no matter what kind of trouble or ugly past you have

First, we work on creating peace within. Only then, can we become true models for peace.

World peace can not be 'created' it can be nurtured, caressed, even toyed!
However when the novelty wears off and we all get bored of it, it will all kick off again.

By accepting social responsibility. Little by little until the momentum builds around a catalyst and the trickle becomes an avalanche of social reform. Has faith in the non profit sector.
