If people access your radio station via DNS name not IP address you can use Dynamic DNS

look at no-ip.com you can register a free DNS name or move your one to them (only .com, .org but there may be locall Dyn DNS hosters)

You run an App on an inside machine (some routers even support this directly)

This way whenever your IP address changes your DNS name follows (NB its instantanous as they are the hoster for he address at the most upon changing you have to wait for cache to clear)

Contact your ISP and ask if they can provide you a static IP address.

If they can, they will probably charge you a fee for the static address each month.

If they cannot, you will have to change ISPs to one who can supply a static address.

Check your ISP terms and conditions as well... you may not be allowed to run a radio station from what is meant as a home account. An internet radio is going to put a lot of upload traffic on your connection which ADSL is not good for and your ISP may not like it if you get busy!

Your ISP can assign you a Static IP - that's usually a different service plan which costs more.

Dynamic IP means whenever you turn on your modem the ISP gives you whatever random IP address is available, they don't reserve a particular address for you.
