See, everyone in my class has to participate in a play in order to get full marks at the final exam. It sounded fine at first, but then I'm told that I'm supposed to act out the first scene. Basically, I have to run into a room screaming that I saw a ghost. It's my first time being in a play. But all I know is that I have a tendency to get REALLY nervous, and I don't wanna bomb the whole play up by my hideous stuttering! So, uh, if anyone has any advice or tips on the preparation, I'd really appreciate it.
=)

Ah, the blind are out ther again leading the blind. Forget all that nonsense above. Acting is responding to stimuli. You see a ghost, you run screaming to tell everyone. Simple. AS long as you concentrate on that you will not be nervous. But if you are, great, wouldn't someone who just saw a ghost be nervous and stutter? Relax and have fun, that is what acting is, having fun playing.

first, practise in front of the mirror, so, you would know what is your mistakes, b'coz everytime you got a mistake in your play.. you'll add your nervous...
second, breathe in slowly before begin your play...
third, ignore your audience...
fourth, good luck!!1

memorize your piece and act it the way you do it in real life. relax and take a deep breathe before you enter the stage, it may help you lessen your nervousness.
