Surge is working....surge is not working
Benchmarks met....benchmarks not met
Pull some troops out....not pulling any troops out
Isn't it obvious Bush is dragging it out now so he can say it was working but somebody else screwed it up? If Iraq is a success he wins and if Iraq fails he still wins?

Big Pisano: I heard that too. Was awfully nice of him to be so considerate and ease the next president into it.

Bob A pretty much sums it up for me! The stage is set. It no longer is about political parties. I do feel the next President will play an enormous role in the survival of the "United" part of our country. In many ways I feel the next President may be the last President. His/Her fault, Bush's fault, Clinton's fault? More likely just prophecy being fulfilled. People are already starting to wise up. 18% aapproval rate of Congress as a whole says the people don;t trust either party. We better unite or we are going to divide - most likely from within! And we better get wise as to who the REAL enemy is! And it is not any of the citizens in the 50 states.

This war is designed to NEVER end... we're building 14 bases in Iraq and an embassy bigger than the Vatican. Our goal is to search empty caves for the boogey man while GE, Northrop, Boeing etc. redirect wealth from the middle back to the elite. This is about all about the New World Order.. stop blaming Republicans and Democrats..because they're all the same with the same agenda. Turn off Fox, turn off CNN., unplug the Xbox.. stop watching 24..the dumbing of America is in its final stages. The EU, AU (African) NAU..Asian unions are all under construction or are complete.. preparing for Global Domination of our freedom and economy.

Republicans and Democrats... their agenda is the same... Create a New World Order.. Enforce the Real ID act complete with radio frequency identification (RFID) chips....Open borders with Mexico and Canada.. Commence the North American Union.. Establish the Amero...Centralized World Banking.. Continue the War in Iraq to redistribute wealth back to the wealthy...look for the boogey man in empty caves .. dominate the world.

Are you going to submit or fight?

im afraid that that the plan is to hand the baton of nau and the nwo over to the next prez to carry. what they do is dilute the candidate pool with people on both sides of the isle ready to carry out their bilderburg, triladeral, cfr, orders. there is no difference between rudy, clinton, edwards, thompson, romney, richardson, all have the same agenda, all will serve the nwo, and it does not matter which one we pick, ......and if we dont pick one of them, they steal the election. we must be on our toes, vigilant, as we seen in the iowa straw polls, they are already stealing the votes. i was there, a chimp could tell you RON PAUL SUPPORTERS were the largest crowd without a doubt. it was difficult to really tell there were any romney people there, but they first claimed problems with the diebold systems, then romney was announced the winner, RON PAUL they claimed came in fifth. they robbed the AMERICAN people. exit polls showed RON PAUL the winner, smoking romney. at the end of the day, we are building 14 very perminant bases in iraq right now, that should tell you we have no plans on leaving.

I don't know about passing the war on, but I sure know the bill for this war will be passed on through generations.

Will elections still take place if martial law is applied
Plus, the way diebold works... The next elected will be in the same state of mind.

Absolutely true. He always talked about the WOT as a "generational" conflict, and he says Iraq is the main front in that "war."

Generals have said troops need to stay 12 or more years, and they clearly have no strategy or plan, even if they wanted to leave sooner.

Anytime they want to maintain the status quo, they commission a "report," then say they will "study" it, then do nothing. They'll try to claim that it's premature to pull now, with the first signs (yet again) of "progress" will ask to re-evaluate in March, then will claim that it would be unfair to leave a new administration in the midst of a messy pull-out.

The Dems will show their complete lack of guts and will go along with the program, afraid that conservatives who will never, ever vote for them might call them names.

TRUE. A Book is coming out with his own admission of that statement. He says he is "playing" to keep the war around so that whoever is president after him will be comfortable with it. It's nice to finally have him admit to the thing we all knew he's been doing for years. The man is a disgrace.

True, an extented war benifits him and Cheney personally the most. Its sad that we let people get away with their personal agenda which fills their wallets.

Its basically a win win situtaion with them there till after the election because this problem like many other problems will just be left for the next term to solve..

I think Bush couldn't care less about his "legacy". But I think you'll see troops coming home by next summer. The election cycle will bring too much pressure from his own party, so they can keep their seats.

Doesn't anybody know that the election is Bush's exit strategy. He and Cheney knew that they would never win in Iraq, heck Cheney said so in 1994.

Bush is dragging this on because he will never admit that he has thrown the world into this 'War'. It made me sick of how most Americans elected him and not Kerry because he didnt have the 'towel whipping' humor that Bush has. In my opinon, Bush is the antichrist... and don't wet yourself if you are reading this because if you think about what he has done with this war is misleading us into a fight in which has NO end!
