Ok, now time for a serious answer. The lion's penis has barblike projections on it. They cause pain to the lioness when the male withdraws. This is why she rolls over and snarls and even sometimes swipes at the male. This is why the male lion bites the back of her neck. It is to give him time to leap away before she hurts him. It sounds cruel, but the female lioness doesn't actually ovulate until she copulates multiple times with a lion. The pain and irritation is what stimulates her to actually ovulate.

purely on a similar time as she's in warmth, then he will pass directly to whichever is the subsequent in his harem to become reproductively receptive. Rape, as in copulation for the time of a non-estrus time, is uncommon, yet many times purely happens as a disciplinary tactic. If there is better than one lioness in warmth, he pals with besides the fact that many he can, around the clock. Lion testes are very effective. infrequently, a satisfaction is lorded via inseparable brothers, then they'll commerce off and proportion. in any different case there is purely one mating male per satisfaction.

Usually before mating the lioness initiates body posturing, which includes rubbing and nudging, rolling over on her back and emitting a low guttural moan to stimulate the male to initiate intercourse. When she has all of his attention, she crouches to the mating posture. Then the male mounts and begins, the male bites the neck of the lioness and makes noises and facial expressions, a climax is reach after about five to twenty seconds. After that lions mate frequently, as frequent as every twenty minutes for several days (three to seven days). After every copulation, the lioness rolls over on her back and lays on her back for a minute or two.

she is getting him stimulated for the next round

She's rolling in crap to put him off next time.
