DH and I plan to name our baby girl Annalise. Ultimately it's a combination of the names Anna and Elizabeth. We are really stuck trying to find a middle name. We could just name her Anna Elizabeth and call her Annalise, but I think I want her first name to be Annalise. What's better: Annalise Something, Annalise alone, or Anna Elizabeth aka "Annalise"?

i don't have a middle name. my children's middle names are after their grandparents. i don't like giving a child a middle name for no reason, if the middle name is the name of some one you love then go for it but otherwise leave it at Annalise which is beautiful.

Annalise.
Anna Elizabeth doesn't sound like Annalise at all to me.

I would name her Annalise with a seperate middle name.
Annalise Gabrielle
Annalise Lenore
Annalise Eve

Why not name her Annalise Elizabeth? Annalise is a beautiful name, but as I found out after naming my daughter, her name will probably be shortened to Ann, Anna, Annie, or Lise by friends and family.

How many time do you fill out paper work when they ask for a middle initial ? Annalise plus a middle name or even only an initial by itself. Middle names are a perfect way to honor someone you admire.

Annalise is so BEAUTIFUL! I would still give her a middle name, especially if it has meaning, or is after someone important in your life. If not, Annalise is gorgeous enough to stand alone.

Annalise all on it's own would be very nice. I don't have a middle name either. It's kind of nice that way.
