There is a way to feed video to most screens, there are a couple of companies on the web that make a "T" plug to do that. i think most are like 100-300. u might want to contact them since that is not a popular app. It is illegal to watch video on that monitor in all 50 states though

And some time that really freeks out the DVD player so when you try to load map softwear back the DVD player stops working. That is what I want to do watch movies while I am trying to drive. Nissan 350Z Navi DVD player will play movies with the parking brake pulled up and engine running.

It might not be able to because the resolution probably isn't too high. So even if you got a mod for it to play DVD's they might look like crap.
