I do because they need to be 100 % pure for their husbands.

I'd much rather married women in stable relationships as surrogates than those who are single and dating or looking - too many potential pitfalls there (sorry, no offense to single surrogates, there are some who can manage it, but I have to believe they are fairly rare!).

I do think a woman whose husband is not in favor of the surrogacy should not proceed - it's a huge decision that affects the whole family. But many husbands are very supportive.

And, just in case you don't understand the process (the "pure" statement concerns me), there is NO sexual activity involved in normal surrogacy experiences - conception is achieved through artificial insemination or in vitro fertilization depending on the type of surrogacy, NOT through intercourse!

Absolutely not! What's wrong with the idea of a surrogate mother? Let me guess, a woman is worthless if her eggs are viable but she can't carry a child to term, right? So, a married woman being surrogate is wrong in your mind. But an unmarried woman being surrogate is also wrong in your mind because you think that unmarried women should be married. Sorry. We don't live in YOUR perfect world. All I can say is THANK GOD!

Well how do you explain why Abraham was permitted to have his wife Sarah and she have abraham her handmaid Hagar to be his wife to bear him children Genesis 16. Doesn't this passage conflict with the marriage vows that say the man and woman are to cleave unto one another, forsaking all others. Personally ,I think that a surrogate mother is a blessing to those who might otherwise remain childless.Wasn't Hagar the first surrogate mother since Sarah gave Hagar to Abraham solely to have children?

no,
for a woman to be a surrogate is a blessing for someone barren. married or not. for a husband not to allow it is selfish of him. there are procedures done so that there are no actual relations but instead invetro fertilization. there is no adultery in the process.
