Get some Afrin Nasal spray! It is kind of a panicky feeling, I agree.

yes you are.. take the antihistamines on a regular basis, get yourself a nose spray to use,
there is no need for this.
put a towel over your head over the sink with hot water and eucalyptus in it......

I would say there is no such thing to over-reacting if one suffers from cold, allergies or sinusitis.
