A real easy way to check the battery is to start the car and remove the posative battery cable while its running. if the car dies, then your alternator is shot. If it keeps running, then the problem is your battery isnt holding a charge. If you have a volt meter, shut off the car and check amp draw between pos cable and batt pos post. anything more than .9 amp means you have something in the car running like a light. (radio clocks and computers only draw about .5 amp (with car off)

Two things to have checked.
1) Is your battery holding charge?
2) Is your alternator delivering charge to the battery.
It really has to be one of these. Hope this helps.

Could be the battery is not holding a charge, faulty alternator or the voltage regulator.
