We are thinking to have an emergency wedding just for fun… lols!
Seriously, we are considering to get married this coming 20 October 2007, depends how hard or easy to process our papers.
Do you think Nurture Spa is romantic enough? Any other suggestion is highly appreciated. THANK YOU!

The best garden wedding setting will be Sonya's Garden. It is actually a little way past Tagaytay itself, but is still considered by visitors as part of Tagaytay. Its ONLY downside is that it doesn't overlook the lake. In fact, it is hidden somewhere where you would least expect a restaurant to be.
The menu is fixed: salad with fruits as garnishings, bread and dips, and finally pasta. I am not sure if Sonya would agree to another item in the menu.
The place is dreamy and is the best garden in Tagaytay. I want my garden to be something like that someday.
I can host you and your boyfriend for a Sonya's lunch when you check it out. But if you should find my garden good enough, then you can have it for your wedding.
Just get in touch, Roszi dear.

I prefer an indoor church wedding for the reasons that the previous poster listed: Weather, insects, hot sun and other distractions are things that you have no control over and they could take attention away from the ceremony. If you're lucky and it doesn't rain then you might have the sun in people's eyes or beating down on them. Or the wind could blow merry havoc with hair and dresses. What if someone is allergic to grass or is a biting bug magnet? With a church there's less for you to worry about. And with a church wedding there's no reason why you need elaborate decorations. Just a few pew decorations (which isn't much more than a single flower with some greenery and ribbons) and maybe one other arrangement that could be moved to the reception hall afterwards. And all of these are optional, they're nice to have but not necessary. I've been to church weddings that didn't have anything fancy, as far as flowers and decorations go, and nobody cared because they were all focused on the bride and groom. Good luck with everything!

Yes I agree Caleruega will be a scenic wedding. Overlooking Tagaytay, the colors of the sunset in your background, wow!
You can also check out Canyon Woods.
I don't think Nurture Spa is open for weddings. My Mom attended a wedding there once, but that was the only time the owners allowed it.

Congratulations!
If you think Norture Spa is best for you, go for it.
Have not gone to Tagaytay for quite some time. Just don't pick the place Vilma Santos wanted shut down cuz it was dangerously near Taal. Can a grouch crash into the party, you know, just to take care of the leftovers?

congrats Rozsi! Since it's an emergency wedding, lol, I assume that you won't have the time to go and do everything yourself. I suggest the Taal Vista Hotel or Days Inn, they have wedding packages that you can check out. Taal Vista has been renovated and it's really nice, Days Inn have a wonderful garden where you can have your wedding. Good luck!
