Chances are you do not need the CD to configure your router. There is a reset button on the back that sets it back to factory defaults. Doing this will put it back to 192.168.1.1 for an network address. This is true for any Linksys Router. If you have an access point, the IP resets to 192.168.1.245. Change the IP address of your computer, attached to the LAN side of the router, to 192.168.1.100 (or something in that range, but not to 192.168.1.0, 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.255 as those will not work). Open your web browser, and go to http://192.168.1.1. You should be prompted for a username and password. The default username is blank, and the password should be admin. Now you should be in. Make your configuration changes and save them. The router should reboot itself. If you change the IP address of the router, make sure you either enable DHCP to hand out IP addresses, or manually change your system IP to match the subnet of the router. That should be it.

You don't need the CD at all, it may help you by making the configuration process easier, but you can do everything through the Http configuration. If you want the CD, you can download it from the Linksys official site.

Personnaly I have never ever used the CD because the routers have a builtin web based manager, so why do you need the CD?
If you need it you can get it from the Linksys Support site just enter your Model Number and go to downloads.

Linksys is sold by Best Buy Stores. You might check with them, and see what they suggest.
