Due to racism, I cannot say who the enemy is/could be and wont, as I'm not saying it's going to happen, but it's not impossible. Our instincts are to defend our families as citizens, not our country! Street warfare is not a thing of the past in many countrys, although there are gang wars, this could be a race of people perhaps using dirty tactics, don't take this seriousely please, just being open minded, cheers.

An interesting question, and I like the way it was worded. It is obvious to many people, if foreign foot soldiers are invading your home, you do what you can to defend yourself and your family. But the question is, how many would be prepared to do so. Preparation is a different thing. It involves having a plan before hand: seeking out knowledge, supplies and equipment. The real question is, have you done the research on who the likely enemies are that would attack? What would their methods be and how would you counter them? Have you establish safe areas for yourself and your family? Do you have a food and water storage? How are you armed? Are your family members trained in the use of whatever weapons you have? Are they trained in the likely weapons of the enemie? I have to honestly say, at this point, no, I'm probably not fully prepared at this time. Though, I would do the best I could.

I would calmly walk up to the enemy and take a giant dump on them.
What, am I supposed to feel guilty that I'm an average citizen who isn't a kooky survivalist living in an underground bunker and armed to the teeth? We have RESERVES to handle domestic rebellions and foreign invasions, they are nothing less than modern citizen-soldiers.

You're kidding right ?
This is Australia, History shows we don't roll over for anyone.
If ANYONE was stupid enough to try invading us, they would not survive the massive convoys of high-speed SUVs and 4wds (we got tens of thousands here) coming line abreast across the land at them from every direction.
(and that's only the boys leaving the pubs sat night)
The only insurgents we would get to engage are the ones the snakes, scorpions and deserts leave for us.
Nah. No one would be that silly.

As citizen, I am NOT prepared to fight against invaders. My country (France) never gave me any military preparation, nor does it allow me to own and keep weapons, let alone train with them. So, in case of invasion, I'll let our glorious army of trained professionals do its job and count points from the sidelines... If need be, I'm fully prepared to emigrate.

why are you attacking?
since they would come from up north and down from canada since it would be a sneak attack. i would say in Montana we would be fighting back since we have alot of wepons. and i would do anything to protect my family, including battle and robbing my local arms dealer/sporting good store.

really now. it is stand there and die, or fight. does the question need to be asked? ofcourse people would fight. unless they are want to be killed. if that were the case, people would just go sit on train tracks or walk into traffic today to get killed.
