i'm not sure if that is the spelling of his real name but i really need to know stuff about him! all i know is that he might be just an explorer. if someone knows, please post everything you know about him and tell where he explored!

Yes, Vasco da Gama was an explorer, he was the first explorer to make it around the tip of Africa and on to India. This was extremely important, as Muslims had closed off access to the Silk Road to Christians (Europeans).
