Considering that Iraq never attacked the US or any European country?

No Lotus, I am not your friend. Neither your enemy.

So, did the US "lose" any of those fancy jets from Iraqi AA fire? I think not.

I would wait for your answer after ten to twenty years, and see what you Bush apologists had to say.

Iraq was never and would never be a REAL threat to the United States.

Iraq was invaded because some Texans, who happen to be in the Oil business, like Iraq's number one export. Iraq was invaded so that US and British Oil companies could rebuild the infrastructure with US tax payer dollars and could sell their oil at an inflated price for a large profit.

So what is the criteria for military action?

Is it now only acceptable to sit quietly and watch the enemy load up?
Just hold still, hands behind your back and wait for the enemy to take his best shot?
No pre-emptive action permitted?
No attack without first being attacked?
Refresh me. Did Germany ever attack the US? NO!

So using your logic, the war in Europe was selfish and arrogant, and that commie FDR should have been impeached.
I agree!
The US should take on the role of non-interventionist and begin a policy of incremental isolation.
No more international policeman.
Get out of NATO. It's obsolete anyway.
Who needs oil? We can hunt whales or burn french fry oil.
Build a national Mosque in Washington DC.
Seal the borders. No more immigration.
Send the UN packing. Let them move to Belgium into the closed NATO HQ.
If the rest of the world is worried about Islamists, let them do something about it.
Fortress America

It don't make no sense n'at all. I really am bewildered by this. As a 4.0 Homeland Security student, this is one of the few policies in place and lacking proactive action that I truly believe to either be epic failure or conspiratorial, i.e. NWO theories. As a conservative Democrat, I want my borders shutdown immediately. I don't want this much change of skin color ratios this fast, or else civility may be lost. Not that all of any color are bad, but too many in a new culture with nothing to lose is a recipe for disaster. But, Democrats need the non white vote to win, so... TERM LIMITS.

It wasn't. Even the original flawed intelligence did not indicate that Iraq was a threat to the US or Europe. Iraq had no delivery system for its alleged WMDs. Iraq's supposed contacts with terrorists were sketchy, vague and highly questionable, especially when compared to other Middle Eastern countries.

They attacked Dubai. Dubai is the port that all Mid- East oil flows through. While we get very little mid-east oil Europe gets all of theirs from there. They also funded terrorists from Palestine and likely Al Qeada. They continually fired on U.S. airplanes, they sought nuclear weapons and were sanctioned by the U.N. for invading another country. The U.N. authorized any member nation to enforce these sanctions by force. That my friend means that the U.N. said we want him to comply and you can bomb his butt into submission or you can remove him by force. We did both.
