how can you improve the output from a lemon battery? And how can I do a experiment to text it?

Since power =voltage by current, the need to increase power should entail the maintaining of the voltage while incresing the current.
This can be achieved by using electrodes with a bigger surface area in contact with the electrolyte.

By connecting several batteries in series (+ of one to - of the next) you will increase the voltage. By using larger electrodes you will get slightly higher current, although this will be limited by the rather high internal resistance of the fruit electrolyte.

Polish the electrodes.

Take a voltage reading with dirty electrodes.
Polish them.
Take a reading with polished electrodes.
