Emo (pronounced /ˈiːmoʊ/) is a somewhat ambiguous slang[1] term most frequently used to describe or refer to a fashion, style[2], or attitude linked to post-hardcore. Emo may also describe emo music or a general emotional state (as in to "feel emo"). It is also (sometimes pejoratively) used to identify someone who fits a particular emo stereotype or category or someone who is overly-emotional.[3][4][5] The term's definition is the subject of debate.

Emo is all about making mountains out of molehills. Emo bands are always moaning about sh*t that doesn't matter, and they think they are really badly off, when they're all just spoilt teenagers.

Short for EMOTIONAL. Its like Punk and Goth combined. They tend to be quite depressed and have a tendancy to cut themselves. They stand out because of how they look, usualy they have a long fringe that covers up half their face and the do wear alot of eye-makeup (even guys). They wear alot of black and usualy tight jeans.
