Their is used to describe something that belongs to people, like their house, their ideas, or their money.

Actually, Bruno, it's "fewer misunderstandings," not "less."
I think the technical term is that "there" is an indicative while "their" is a possessive pronoun.
And "they're" is a contraction for "they are"
