I think it is very obvious Senator Craig is guilty as charged, and lied about it, in addition to being a hypocrite.
I think his staying in office will only further damage the reputation of the Republican party in his State and ensure they will lose that seat, whether or not they can eventually convict him (he's already been impeached.)
Anybody else think the same?

I also believe Sen. Craig was doing what the officer said,however,the officer should have allowed him to actually attempt the lewd act.Hand gestures and a game of footsies is extremely odd for strangers in a public restroom,but I fail to see where the law was broken in this instance.But I do believe he is a closet homosexual,and while being nothing wrong with that,I think sexual behaviour belongs behind closed bedroom doors,not public stall doors.Of course his remaining in office is harmful to the republican party.How can it not be.As much stink was raised for bill clinton,any sex scandal will get the democrats mouths watering.

If every Congressperson were kicked out of office for lying and being a hypocrite, we wouldn't have a Congress.
What about all those Congressmen who visit ladies of the evening... should they leave also?
I'm not a fan of this Craig guy, but he was arrested for hand gestures. That seems a little odd to me. Didn't that cop have anything better to do than hang around a bathroom?

I agree. We need another Republican pervert in Congress, and going to a public restroom to pick up police officer's in a sting operation is pretty perverted!
Why do these people think they can do anything and get away with it? It makes me sick!
