I would serve fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, corn on the cob, a nice salad and apple pie with vanilla ice cream for dessert.
My husband is Scottish and whenever we visit Ohio (where my family lives) my dad serves him his idea of a classic American dinner..a nice big steak on the grill with baked potatoes.
I'm hungry now!

It could be any number of meals....pot roast w/potatoes and carrots, and home-made biscuits, apple pie, tall glass of milk
Hamburger w/fries, soda or shake
pizza, breadsticks, soda
steak, mashed or baked potatoes, salad, crusty bread, cheesecake and top it off with a good cup of coffee
My daughter would say turkey dinner with all the fixings, potatoes,gravy, a couple of different veggies, rolls, cranberry sauce, beverage, pie

Probably a nice thick hamburger or steak depending on how nice the meal would be. With some type of potatoes, either deep fried 'french fries' or steak potatoes. Add a nice salad with tomatoes....and there you go.

ppl. like different things. but my favorite is fried chicken mashed potatoes, gravy, salad,corn, dinner rolls, butter,cranberry sauce, and apple pie with vanilla ice cream! gee, now you made me hungry.
